Non-Recourse Nature of Funding
Litigation funding provided by Courtside Capital is non-recourse. This means that repayment is required only if the funded party receives a recovery through a settlement, award, or judgment. If there is no recovery, the funded party owes nothing to Courtside Capital. Terms and conditions will be set forth in a written agreement.

Courtside Capital makes no guarantees, promises, or assurances regarding the outcome of any BAT proceedings, settlements, or awards. Case results depend on many factors outside the control of Courtside Capital, including legal arguments, tribunal decisions, and opposing party conduct
Jurisdictional Limitations
Courtside Capital’s services are intended solely for parties engaged in proceedings before the Basketball Arbitration Tribunal (BAT). Services may not be available in all jurisdictions. Availability is subject to applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Courtside Capital maintains strict confidentiality with respect to all information provided during the application and funding process. However, communications with Courtside Capital are not protected by attorney-client privilege or work-product doctrine.
